your own desire
it gives you power
in serving the other
it is one paradox
that scares the mind
yet the true giving
can feel so divine
and so it is only
fair to post
love's only purpose
is to become a ghost
with no petty whims
and demands to present
just become emptiness
and fill that space
with another's face
unite with grace
in surrender of an embrace
