Butterflies Fly

how it all works only boggles my mind
one minute you're down and then fully alive
yesterday's sorrow and pain turn to nil
gratitude and sharing spilling down the hill

world takes care how you can't understand
it keeps on showing its caring ways
continue this journey with no fear or doubt
if you can't see clearly, you have painted that darkness

do not listen to those who've dismissed you in past
never underestimate the power of a human life
grow humility and power inside your heart
there aren't any obstacles if you say "I just might!"

please remember to hold your visions clear
and be wise enough to accept guidance when given
there is very little shame in admitting fear,
yet remember, one thing, do not hold it dear

how it all really works, i cannot explain
maybe sun and the moon are having their way
but the butterflies fly out of caterpillar's design
even they spread their wings and take to flight
